Agriculture

Agriculture is offered as a VCE subject and as an elective to our Year 9/10 cohorts.  It is predominantly a practical class, whereby students are actively involved with animal handling and horticulture.  Community involvement takes place on several levels, including:

• Victorian merino wether challenge

• AgXtra school’s crop growing competition

• Local Indigenous Elders

• Local agronomists

• Local farmers

Students also take an active involvement in monitoring and maintaining school gardens
